You can read the complete catechism without accepting analytics. We do not run advertising or enable advertising tracking.

Reading preferences

We use your browser’s local storage to remember your theme, text size for each screen size, and whether you want Scripture references shown. These settings stay on your device and are not sent to us as part of saving them. Your cookie choice is also stored locally, for up to 180 days. You can remove this information using your browser’s site-data controls.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics is not currently activated on this site. The consent controls are ready for it, and it will only load on our public domain if configured and you have accepted analytics.

We keep advertising storage, advertising personalisation, and Google signals disabled. We do not send raw search terms, names, email addresses, or a user account identifier in our analytics events. The page address and referrer sent by our configuration exclude query strings and fragments.

Google processes network requests and usage information under its own terms and privacy arrangements, which can involve processing outside Australia. Read Google’s privacy policy and Google Analytics data safeguards. Consent controls are not a promise that usage data is anonymous.

Change or withdraw consent

Use “Cookie choices” in the footer at any time. Rejecting analytics stops future collection through this site and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. If analytics has already loaded, the page reloads to unload it. Withdrawing consent does not erase information previously sent to Google.

Search and external links

Search runs in your browser against the catechism text. A search link may include your search words in its address so the destination can highlight them; that address is part of the normal page request to the host. We exclude those words from our Google Analytics page addresses and events.

Scripture links open Bible Gateway in a new tab only when you choose a link. We do not embed its scripts or previews. Bible Gateway and other linked sites have their own privacy policies.

Hosting

The hosting provider receives normal connection information, such as your IP address, requested address, browser details, and request time, to deliver and protect the site. When the public site is served through Cloudflare, its privacy policy also describes that processing. This operational handling is separate from optional Google Analytics.
